public class BottomField
extends JPanel

The BottomField ist the panel at the lower part of the window that is diplayed during replaying of CDs and where several information like title, artist, album, time and cover image are shown.

Method Detail

setLockHidePanel

public void setLockHidePanel(boolean lockHidePanel)

Using this function a lock can be set or released that disables/enables the possibility to hide this panel. As long as the lock is set the panel can't be turned off. This functionality is used to avoid flickering of the panel when switching from one track to an other.

Parameters:

lockHidePanel - the lock state to be set

hidePanel

public void hidePanel()

When this method is called the progress bar that display the current playing time is stopped and the whole BottomPanel is hidden. This is true only in case the hide lock is not activated (please refer to method setLockHidePanel())

setPlayInfo

public void setPlayInfo(CDInfo cdInfo,
                        TrackInfo trackInfo)

The information that have to be displayed by the BottomPanel are handed over using this method. this method is called periodically with updated time track information. These time data are used to set the progress bar. The progress bar itself is running automatically using a given time range but is synchronised to the current time delivered by the replaying mechanism by these periodic updates.

Parameters:

cdInfo - the CD info data that have to be displayed

trackInfo - the track info data that have to be displayed for the current track
